Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Brady, Reily, Delaney and I went to McDonald's Greenhouse to get pumpkins and had a great day!  They had a hay ride, a corn maze and fun activities for the kids.  They had so much fun!

Burning Fields

We had a crazy day here when someone apparently threw a cigarette out of a passing car onto a newly harvested field.  Jordan was plowing, saw smoke and called Matt.  He called the fire department and by the time they arrived, there was a BIG fire.  In the end, it burnt up about 5-8 acres.  Brady was disappointed he missed the excitement because he was at school, but he got a "private" tour of a fire truck instead!

First Day of School

Our first day of school was GREAT!  Brady and Reily were so excited -- and mom only cried for a few minutes.  What a rough experience -- but they were so thrilled to be a big kid!  Brady's favorite part was the cafeteria -- he wanted to go in the kitchen and see how they cooked the food. Reily was mad that her cubby was next to Brady's!  So funny ...  Grandma Carpenter came down for the big day -- mainly to make sure that mom didn't totally fall apart ...  It was questionable for awhile ...
