Harvest Party in Mrs. Pessia's Class

The Harvest Party in Mrs. Pessia's class was great fun.  The kids got to decorate a Halloween visor, play with Play Dough and decorate cupcakes to eat.  Brady and I made a really cool cake -- the Mummy Cake!  It was actually too cute to eat!

The kids and I made the CUTEST Thanksgiving cupcakes for school.  They were so fun to make and the kids loved it!

School Bus #25

The kids rode the bus for the first time this week and they love it!  They are last on, last off ... so they really like the ride to school ... but they prefer parent-pick-up in the afternoon!

Halloween Cookies

Lisa came over to help us bake cookies for Halloween.  As you can see, Reily dressed in her finest for the event -- you can NEVER be overdressed ...  Reily also wanted to be in charge of cracking the eggs into in the mixer.  Check out the photos ... the egg shells are in the mixer and the yolks are in the floor.  Not so good!  Also check out DD's face ... she loved the sprinkles ... and notice the clothes -- or lack there of ... she is such a nudist ... and so cute!

Apple Butter Festival

Grandma, the kids and I went to the Apple Butter Festival at Roscoe Village.  What a fun day!

I Thought Surgery Was Supposed to Slow a Kid Down ...

Delaney had tubes put in her ears yesterday.  It actually went very well ... and she seems happier than ever.  The doctor told us that she needed to stay pretty inactive when she got home.  Unfortunately, she had other plans.  After she woke up from the "anethesia nap" she was ready to go.  And I thought she might lay around all day ...  haha

Day 2 at Daycare ... Not So Good

No picture today ... because I can still hearing Delaney screaming from here.  Not so happy about her new friends today ...

DD's First Day at The Children's Center (AKA The Day We Find Out if She Will Hurt Another Small Child ...)

Delaney started daycare at The Children's Center today and she loved it.  Reily told me she thought D might kill someone (LOL) -- but everyone made it out alive today :)  She really seemed to love the kids and hardly shed a tear when Grandma and I left.  I think she was most delighted to see other kids her size and lots of new toys.  Plus, there are 9 kids in the class and only one was a girl -- so now she has her very own playmate for herself!  The teacher said that the little girl followed Delaney around all day because she was so surprised to see another girl her size.  She even took a nap without a bottle ... WOW!  I can't wait to see what she does tomorrow ...

Look, Mom, No Training Wheels!

Brady finally took off his training wheels and now he can ride anywhere!  He is thrilled ...

The 100 Club!

Reily is in the "20 Club" and the "100 Club" at school because she has successfully counted to 100.  She is so proud of her new awards!

Delaney Broke Dad's Head ... Already

I knew Delaney was going to be the death of Matt -- but not in this way.  Grandma Jean bought Matt a beautiful Willow Tree figurine of a man and a baby.  DD dropped it and broke it's head off ...  I knew she would make his head explode eventually ... I just didn't think it would be this soon ...
